'Trust your tires' said the coach. When a corner can make a few seconds difference and you have many in a course, you need that trust.

Rolling resistance is now understood and tires have kevlar compounds, thread counts and all sorts of puncture resistant properties, including tubeless.

 

A good tire is worth the price if you value your life and live to ride. Which are overrated or underrated and why?
